The TOK Exhibition requires you to select three objects that connect to your chosen IA prompt. The best objects are specific, rich in knowledge implications, and personally meaningful.
What Makes a Good Object?
- Specific: Not "a book" but "this specific edition of 1984 with my marginalia"
- Knowledge-rich: The object should clearly link to TOK concepts
- Documentable: You must be able to include a photo of the object
- Diverse: Your three objects should be from different domains
Objects to Avoid
Generic objects like "a smartphone" or "a statue" without specific context. Also avoid objects chosen purely for shock value—their connection to the knowledge question must be clear.
Tip: Choose objects you already have a personal connection to. This makes your commentary more authentic and engaging.
